FAS and Finland competition authority signs a new cooperation programme
On 21 June 2017, Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov had talks with General Director of Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, Juhani Jokinen in Paris during a visit of the FAS delegation to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The parties emphasized long-lasting and productive cooperation between the antimonopoly bodies of Russia and Finland under the frame of implementing the Agreement on Cooperation between the State Committee of the Russian Federation on Antimonopoly Policy and Support of New Economic Structures and Free Competition Office of the Republic of Finland (Helsinki, 21.09.1994), particularly efficiency of the annual trainings for experts of competition authorities of Russia and Finland, which took place in Helsinki and St Petersburg in April and May 2017 accordingly. Andrey Tsyganov and Juhani Jokinen also discussed the latest news and events in the life of the two bodies and the prospects of further cooperation.
Finally, the parties signed the 2018 -2019 Cooperation Programme between FAS and Finland competition authority.
