FAS TEMPORARILY POSTPONES INSPECTIONS AND LAUNCHES REMOTE CASE INVESTIGATIONS
Due to the pandemic of the new coronaviral infection, the Antimonopoly Service shall work in this regime till 10 April 2020
In accord with the order of Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mushustin, issued due to a danger of spreading coronaviral infection (2019-nCoV), the Federal Antimonopoly Service will temporality put its inspections on hold. The only exception will be unscheduled inspections to verify compliance with the antimonopoly law related to protection of life and health of the population, and the laws on procurement.
Changes will also be made in the work of the Commissions on investigating antimonopoly and administrative cases.
Where practical, they will work remotely, with use of video-conferencing programs, or will be temporarily postponed in view of observing all required deadlines.
All interested persons will be notified in advance about possibility to take part in the scheduled events remotely.
The above measures are temporary. They will last from 19 March to 10 April 2020 inclusive.
Deputy Head of FAS Pavel Zaborschikov pointed out: “Taking into account the current epidemiological situation, the Antimonopoly Service is changing organization of inspections and case investigations, but at the same time FAS functions as normal and continues immediately reacting to any incidents of violating the antimonopoly law”.
