FAS LAUNCHED REMOTE CONSIDERATION OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING ALL PROPERTY TENDERS

All subjects of the Russian Federation are connected to remote consideration of complaints about  property tenders

From 26 March 2020, FAS Central Office can consider complaints regarding tenders in the field of land, concession, natural resources laws, privatization, bankruptcy and other sectors remotely.

It concerns complaints about tenders with over 1 billion RUB value and complaints about selecting operators for solid municipal waste treatment.

FAS emphasizes that such complaints are considered strictly in accord with Article 18.1 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, including:

Remote consideration of complaints by FAS Central Office is available to tender organizers and businessmen from all Federal Districts (except Moscow and the Moscow region). Petitions for remote consideration can be filed online.

In this format, complaints are considered through video-conference calls provided by FAS regional Offices.

For remote consideration, the interested persons must file a petition about teleconferencing complaint consideration via the FAS official web-site no later than 4 p.m. (Moscow time) of a working day before the date of substantive complaint consideration.
