WEEK OF OECD COMPETITION-RELATED EVENTS STARTS TODAY

The meetings of the OECD Competition Committee and its working groups start today, on November 30

Following the events of the OECD Competition Committee, the OECD Global Forum on Competition will be held from 7 to 10 December.

These events will focus on topical issues of competition law and its application in such areas as digital advertising markets, standard essential patents, abuse of dominance in digital markets, economic analysis in merger investigations, as well as market studies to tackle emerging competition issues and the role of competition policy in promoting economic recovery.

In preparation for these meetings, the FAS Russia contributed with the written reports to the following round tables:

• The role of competition policy in promoting economic recovery;
• Abuse of dominance in digital markets;
• Economic analysis in merger investigations;
• Using market studies to tackle emerging competition issues.
