The session of a Working Group of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) (Skopje, Macedonia, November 14-15, 2016)

The Working group discussed the latest news and trends on energy retail markets, analyzed and compared the procedures for switching energy resources suppliers in various countries and approaches to regulating disputes emerging in the course of concluding contracts.

Dmitry Vasilev gave a presentation on “Energy carriers and their impact upon consumers”. He discussed specifics of exposing such antimonopoly violations as concerted actions and anticompetitive agreements, as well as exposed incidents of manipulating prices on the wholesale and retail markets of electric power and capacity.
