On 1 September – the Day of Knowledge, when secondary schools and universities start a new academic year – the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) took part in the “Day without wicket-gates” project and conducted a tour for the pupils of No. 896 School in Moscow. To exercise the authority on giving explanations regarding antimonopoly enforcement, given to FAS by the “forth antimonopoly law”, the antimonopoly body is now devising the positions on applying Article 10 of the Law “On Protection of Competition”, which will be a logical continuation of the Explanations issued by FAS Presidium at the beginning of the year. On 15 July 2016 an official delegation of the Republic of Belarus had a meeting with top executes of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The Minister of Trade of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Koltovich, announced that “a Presidential Decree of laid the foundation for establishing a separate antimonopoly body in Belarus.
