FAS Russia: the institute of warning drew a line under the case of “short numbers”

On 7th February 2013, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) terminated a case against the “Big Three” providers: “MegaPhon” OJSC, “VympelCom” OJSC and “MTS” OJSC on violating the antimonopoly law in the course of providing access to informational-and-reference and entertainment services of the third persons (content-providers) to subscribers of a network of mobile telephone communications.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the Property Management Committee of the Authority of the Volokolamsk Municipal District of the Moscow Region and the Head of the Volokolamsk Municipal District of the Moscow Region upon signs of violating Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”– exercising actions that create unequal opportunities for economic entities for buying a land plot for constructing retail facilities.
