The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in Chechnya and Ingushetia is divided into two separate antimonopoly bodies
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) reorganized its Office in Chechnya and Ingushetia and formed two new regional units.
The FAS Office in Chechnya and Ingushetia was the only unit of the Antimonopoly Service which controlled two constituent territory of the Russian Federation within the FAS system.
On 18th December 2012, Aslambek Elbukaev was appointed the Acting Head of Chechnya OFAS, and on 25th December 2012 Isa Tochiev took charge of Ingushetia OFAS.
“Today the President of Russia pays considerable attention to competitive ability so we decided to form separate bodies in these regions. We hope for efficient work of the new Offices and positive results of their work”, pointed out Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Pavel Subbotin.
