FAS is conducting an Academic Olympics on antimonopoly regulation
The winners will have an advantage enrolling to the universities that take part in the project.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) sees that the main goal of the academic competition is to identify future specialists in antimonopoly regulation and competition law among today’s prospective students.
The contest is supported by several universities in Moscow, the Moscow region and some Russian provinces.
The Academic Olympics has three stages, including works in writing and interviews with the authors of the best essays. The winners will be announced in April 2016.
Undergraduate, MA and doctorate students are also invited to take part in an essay contest – “Point of growth”.
Each participant will receive a Certificate; while organizations that submitted more than 10 works – a Letter of Acknowledgement.
The winners will be awarded a Diploma and a prize, and will be offered an opportunity of internship with FAS.
The following essays themes are proposed:
– Competition as a driver of economic growth
– Developing antimonopoly law in the world
– Advertising as a competitive tool
– Impact of natural monopolies upon the state of competition
– Control over economic concentration: reality or a necessity?
– Civil control in public procurement
– If I were a governor, how would I develop competition …
