FAS can open antimonopoly cases upon the outcome of an inspection of “Russian Satellite Communications Company”
FAS exposed a number of violations committed by “Russian Satellite Communications Company” Federal State Unitary Enterprise.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) revealed elements of repeated violations of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” (No.135-FZ), the Federal Law on contractual system (No.44-FZ) and the Federal Law on public and municipal enterprises (No.161-FZ) in operations of “Russian Satellite Communications Company” as well as the authorities supervising the Company.
Factoring in possible objections raised by the company with regard to the inspection act, FAS will open cases upon each of the violations.
“We already see elements of discrimination in the access to the space communications infrastructure”, pointed out Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over Aviation, Rocket-and-Space and Nuclear Industries, Anton Pastukhov.
Earlier “Russian Satellite Communications Company” tried to prevent the inspection and refused to submit materials to FAS requested under the frame of executing the instructions given by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin.
