FAS will improve the electric power tariffs for the next year in Q4
Accepting 2017 tariff applications for electric power is over. FAS started analyzing whether the offers comply with the fundamental pricing principles.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service completed accepting 2017 tariff applications: offers from wholesale suppliers on electric power tariffs.
8 generating companies filed offers for 28 electric power stations in the non-price zones of the wholesale market and 74 companies – for 383 power plants in the price zones*.
The antimonopoly body will approve 2017 electric power prices in Q4 2016.
*In the price zones of the wholesale markets electric power is supplied to industrial companies at non-regulated prices, except areas for which specifics of wholesale and retail markets are set.
In non-price zones competitive market pricing is considered impossible so buying on the wholesale market takes place under regulated prices.
