Cassation Court confirmed legitimacy of a fine against “Unified Transport Directorate”

Crimea OFAS fined the organization 300,000 RUB
The antimonopoly body found that the “Unified Transport Directorate” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization (the ferry operator in the “Crimea” and “Caucasus” ports) violated Clause 1 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. The “Unified Transport Directorate” fixed monopolistically high price for carriage across Kerch Strait, which ultimately reduces гcargo tonnage and increases prices for the brought in goods and services.
Crimea OFASissued a determination to stop violating the antimonopoly law and fined the “Unified Transport Directorate” 300,000 RUB.
The Court of First Instance, the Appeal Court and the Cassation Court confirmed the fine legitimacy.
