FAS shall submit its proposals on developing competition in science and education to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation

On 6 February 2017, FAS Expert Council discussed the final proposals to be included in the draft Road Map “On Developing Competition in Education”

The Expert Council adjusted and clarified proposals on developing competition in education forwarded to FAS in order to be included in the draft Road Map for further discussions and approval by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The antimonopoly authority is considering the relevant proposals to execute the instructions of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Head of FAS Department for Control over Social Sphere and Trade, Timophey Nizhegordtsev said: “Arrangements are reached that there will be several working meetings with the Ministry of Education and Science in the next three weeks to finalize the Road Map”.

He added that the proposal authors – members of the Expert Council will be involved in discussing the draft project with the colleagues from the Ministry of Education and Science. The Expert Council comprises representatives of specialized commercial, public and non-profit organizations operating in the field of education.
