State I of the “Point of Growth” essay contest is completed

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) stopped accepting applications and creative works for the II All-Russian “Point of Growth” essay contest for undergraduate and MA students (the Contest).

More than 200 individual works from undergraduate and MA students of tertiary education institutions aged 17 - 23.  The Contest Commission is now examining the works.

The most popular themes of the 14 essay options are:

  1. Competition and monopolies – advantages and shortcomings
  2. Import substitution as a mechanism for stimulating Russian producers.
  3. Rivalry for the first place in tenders. Any means to an end?
  4. What differs advertising form any other information about goods or brands?

Stage I of the Contest took place on 1 November 2016 - 1 April 2017. Every participant will be awarded an electronic Certificate. The lecturers and educational institutions that submitted 10 and more works for the Contest will receive FAS Letters of Acknowledgement.

The winners will be awarded Diplomas, commemorative prizes and will be offered an opportunity for internship in FAS and its regional bodies.
