Vologda Regional Arbitration Court confirms that “Rostelecom” PJSC committed a violation
Earlier the antimonopoly law found that the communications provider violated the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”
Vologda OFAS established that in 2016 a communications provider - “Rostelecom” PJSC in the person of its Vologda branch partly restricted access of two its subscribers to a public telecom network. “Rostelecom” restricted outbound calls from subscriber numbers, allocated to “LTL RUS” Ltd. and “Agrovikt” Ltd. via the transit local-telephony network of “MegaFon” PJSC (a provider) to the subscriber numbers of “GRIN” Ltd., allocated by”NRTel” Ltd. (a provider).
Upon those facts, the antimonopoly body found that “Rostelecom” PJSC violated the antimonopoly law (Clause 4 Part 1 Article 10).
The company filed a lawsuit challenging the decision of Vologda OFAS. The Court, however, dismissed the claim and pronounced legitimacy of the decision made by the antimonopoly body.
