Alexander Plaksin is appointed Acting Head of Perm OFAS

Alexander Plaksin is appointed Acting Head of FAS Office in the Perm region. On 28 April Head of FAS Igor Artemiev signed the order.

Alexander Plaksin stared working with OFAS in 2014; he coordinated activities of the Departments for Control over procurement, Control over the authorities and tender procedures, and Control over Natural Monopolies. With direct involvement of Alexander Plaksin in Perm OFAS opened and investigated 31 cases on antimonopoly violations.

With his direct involvement the Government of the Perm region approved the Road Map and the list of markets, accounting for the comments made by Perm OFAS and, particularly, including the “Motor gasoline and diesel fuel market” in the programme. Through efforts of Perm OFAS, the Perm region is included in the best regions for implementing and developing the Road Map for competition development.
