Suppliers, retailers and producers can inform FAS about unlawful actions of their counteragents

FAS has launched a “hot line” to report on the incidents of violating the Law on Trade. Market representatives: producers, suppliers and retailers can inform FAS about unlawful actions of their counteragents, filling in a special form on FAS web-site.

Based on preliminary monitoring of complying with the Law on Trade that came into effect on 1 January 2017, the Antimonopoly Service revealed facts of violating the sectoral law in 69 subjects of the Russian Federation. More than 1000 violations out of over than 11,000 analyzed contracts are exposed, which accounts to 11% of the total number of checked contracts.

Head of FAS Department for Control over Social Sphere and Trade, Timophey Nizhegorodsev pointed out: “An ongoing dialogue with the market participants is the key FAS task for adjusting its control efforts. Launching this feedback mechanism is an element of a large process on implementing the new Law on Trade in the everyday practice”.
