FAS top officers had a meeting with the Government of the Udmurtia Republic
The event was aimed at studying the best practices of developing competition in various fields of the economy, tariff regulation and prevention of violations
On 13 June 2017, the Federal Antimonopoly Service held a meeting with representatives of the Government of the Udmurtia Republic, chaired by Stats-Secretary, Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsarikovskiy.
At the event the Republican Government was represented by advisors to the Acting Head of the Udmurtia Republic, Yaroslav Semyonov and Anastasia Mugalenko.
The parties discussed areas of developing competition in the Udmurtia Republic, as well as the prospects of cooperation between the federal and regional bodies.
The main items on the agenda were public procurement, highway construction, housing & utilities sector, tariffs in the energy sector, passenger transportation, and subsidizing of agricultural producers.
Plans were announced to sign up an Agreement on Cooperation between the antimonopoly body and the Government of the Udmurtia Republic.
“The Agreement on Cooperation is an efficient tool of joint efforts of regional Governments and FAS in the field of developing competition. Our efforts should be combined to ensure overwhelming competition protection and building up healthy economy in general”, emphasized Andrey Tsarikovskiy.
