FAS concluded an Agreement on Cooperation with the Government of the Penza region
The Agreement is signed on 29 June 2017 by Head of the antimonopoly authority Igor Artemiev and Penza Governor Ivan Belozertsev
The Agreement provides for cooperation between the parties designed protect competition, creating conditions for efficient market performance, pursuing state policy towards developing competition in the Penza region.
The subject of the Agreement also is intensifying investment activity, and the level of competition in public, municipal and corporate procurement, increasing information openness of the Penza regional executive bodies and local self-government bodies in the Penza region, as well as facilitating implementation of the Standard for Developing Competition in the subjects of the Russian Federation in the Penza region.
Igor Artemiev emphasized constructive cooperation between the regulator and the regional Government and successes of the region in developing competition. He added that an “advanced option of the Agreement” is signed providing for even closer cooperation between the regional authority and the antimonopoly body.
