Dagestan OFAS opened four antimonopoly cases against Derbent District Authority
The District Authority leased 300 ha of land without competitive bidding
In the course of a scheduled inspection, the Antimonopoly Service exposed signs of violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” [1] by Derbent District Authority. Four land plots with the area of around 300 ha area were leased without competitive bidding.
OFAS issued four warnings to Derbent District Authority to stop actions that had signs of violating the antimonopoly law: the municipality was requested to abolish the orders on leasing the above land plots.
Since the warnings of Dagestan OFAS were not executed, four antimonopoly cases were opened against Derbent District Authority, on each of it OFAS found it guilty in violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
The Antimonopoly Servicewill held officials ofDerbent District Authority administratively liable.
