On 23 August, a branch of FAS Centre for Education and Methodics (Moscow) and “Baltika” Brewing Company signed an Agreement on Cooperation.

The Agreement is signed by Director of a branch of FAS Centre for Education and Methodics (Moscow), Stanislav Druzhinin, and Vice-President on Legal Affairs for Eastern Europe of “Baltika” Brewing Company (“Carlsberg Group”), Anton Rogachevsky.

Prior to signing the Agreement, Stanislav Druzhinin stated that “Baltika” gives a positive example for large business in general, demonstrating the importance of fair competition through introducing antimonopoly compliance. He emphasized mutual interest of both organizations in cooperation: “We offer our capabilities in training events on antimonopoly regulation, while “Baltika” shares its experience on operating on highly competitive market applying the implemented compliance system”.

In his turn, Anton Rogachevsky assured that antimonopoly compliance is an essential element of the strategy enabling efficient business: for many years “Baltika” has been following its antimonopoly compliance, the key components of which are a system of regulatory acts and procedures, long-term compliance system, an evaluation mechanism and publicity”. In his opinion, “direct communications with the experts of a branch of FAS Centre for Education and Methodics will increase our performance and encourage development of antimonopoly compliance practice in Russia”.

Apart from educational events, the Agreement provides for informational and expert projects on the pressing issues of competition law enforcement and antimonopoly regulation. The Agreement Action Plan is designed for three years.
