Alexander Plaksin is appointed Head of Perm OFAS

Head of FAS Igor Artemiev signed the relevant Order

On 4 September 2017 FAS Order appointed Alexander Plaksin Head of Perm OFAS.

Head of Perm OFAS started working with OFAS in 2014; he coordinated efforts of the Departments for Procurement, Control over the Authorities and Tender procedures, and Control over Natural Monopolies.  With his direct involvement, in 2016 Perm OFAS opened and investigated 31 cases against violations of the antimonopoly law.

With his direct contribution, the Government of the Perm region approved the Road Map and the list of markets that took into account the remarks of Perm OFAS and included the “Market of motor petrol and diesel fuel”. Due to the efforts of Perm OFAS, the Perm region has become one of best regions in terms of implementing and advancing the Road Map for developing competition.
