“Nyagyansk Gas-Distribution Networks” Ltd. paid a 100,000 RUB fine
The company failed to publish exhaustive information under the Information Disclosure Standard
On 11 September 2017, “Nyagyansk Gas-Distribution Networks” Ltd. paid a 100,000 RUB fine.
FAS imposed the fine for an administrative violation under Part 1 Article 19.8.1 of the Code on Administrative Violations.
Under the Information Disclosure Standard, natural monopolies that provide the services of gas transportation via pipelines, approved by a Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, must disclose information I accord with the forms, deadlines and frequency adopted by FAS.
“Nyagyansk Gas-Distribution Networks” Ltd. failed to publish exhaustive information under the Information Disclosure Standard.
Thus, “Nyagyansk Gas-Distribution Networks” Ltd. committed an administrative violation.
Head of FAS Department for Regulating Fuel-and-Energy Complex, Dmitry Makhonin said: “Information disclosure by natural monopolies ensures transparency of the operations by market participants and is a very important condition for non-discriminatory access of consumers and stakeholders to information”.
FAS informs that intensive efforts are being undertaken to improve the information disclosure forms in order to make work of natural monopolies in gas transportation open and transparent for consumers.
