FAS explained the most pressing questions of violating the pricing procedure
It will encourage uniformity of enforcement by antimonopoly bodies
The Antimonopoly Service drafted explanation of the most pressing issues for qualifying violations of the established pricing procedure. Such violations include: exceeding government-regulated prices (tariffs) by an economic entity that has the dominance position on the market (Clause 10 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”), punishable under Article 14.31. of the Code on Administrative Violations.
The explanation is approved by FAS Presidium.
Deputy Head of FAS Sergey Puzyrevskiy pointed out: “The explanation is designed to create uniformity of the enforcement practice of the antimonopoly bodies, particular, in the part of clear definition of FAS power and qualifying violations of the tariff or antimonopoly law”.
