The first case based on materials collected by the All-Russia People’s Front on cartelization in social catering

Ulyanovsk OFAS opened a case upon signs of a cartel in social catering services in Ulyanovsk

The case is opened upon materials of the “For Fair Procurement” project of the All-Russia People’s Front as part of joint efforts on mapping cartels involved in food products supplies to social institutions in Russia.

Ulyanovsk OFASopened a case against “Alternative” Ltd., “TD SPP” Ltd., “Simbirsk-Clearing” Ltd. and “Mobilsvyaz” Ltd. upon signs of breaching Clauses 2 and 3 Part  1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

The competitors entered into and implemented an agreement that resulted in maintaining biding prices and dividing the market of services for providing food products to social institutions in Ulyanovsk and the Ulyanovsk region (day-care centres, schools, hospitals).

Sings of antimonopoly violations are exposed in 106 procurements, the total initial prices reached over 4.5 billion RUB.
