Omsk OFAS fined collusion participants over 12 million RUB

An anticompetitive agreement between “StroiTrast” Ltd., “Avtodorservice” Ltd. and “Continent” Consulting Firm” Ltd. prevented price reduction at an auction for road repair in Omsk.

In August 2017 the Commission of the antimonopoly body recognized as a cartel the agreement between “StroiTrast” Ltd., “Avtodorservice” Ltd. and “Continent” Consulting Firm” Ltd. on joint participation in e-auctions on repair public roads in Omsk. Implementing the anticompetitive agreement throughout e-auctions led to maintaining auction prices.

Under Part 2 Article 14.32 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violation, the following fines are imposed: “Continent” Consulting Firm” Ltd. – 8,860,280 RUB, “StroiTrast” Ltd. – 4,194,960 RUB, “Avtodorservice” Ltd. - 141 440 RUB.

Officials of “StroiTrast” Ltd., “Avtodorservice” Ltd. and “Continent” Consulting Firm” Ltd. are fined 20 000 RUB each.
