OLESYA MILCHAKOVA IS APPOINTED HEAD OF FAS DEPARTMENT FOR CONTROL OVER FOREIGN INVESTMENTS

The appointment order is signed by Head of FAS Igor Artemiev.

Olesya Milchakova has been with the antimonopoly bodies since 2003.

During this period she was responsible for the Unit of Local Monopolies and the Housing & Utilities Sector, FAS Department for Control over Supervision of Construction and the Housing & Utilities Sector, and for the Electric Power Industry Unit FAS Department for Control over the Electric Power Industry.

In March 2009 Olesya Milchakova was appointed Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over the Electric Power Industry; in August 2012 - Deputy Head of Moscow OFAS.

In 2013 - 2016 she worked in the commercial sector.

Since 2017 Olesya Milchakova has held the position of Deputy Head of FAS Legal Department.

Ms. Milchakova has multiple in-house awards, particularly, for her contribution in reforms of the housing-and-utility sector, relations in public procurement and the electric power industry.

A holder of a Candidate of Science Decree (Law), an Associate Professor in Competition Law at Kutafin Moscow State Law University. The author of several publications.

Ms. Milchakova has a son and a daughter.
