FAS CENTRE FOR EDUCATION AND METHODICS AND THE ASSOCATION OF COMPLIANCE MANAGEERS SIGNED AN AGREMENET ON COOPERATION
On 6 February, the Centre for Education and Training of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the Association of Compliance Managers signed an Agreement on Cooperation. The document was endorsed by Centre Director, Lenar Shafigullin and the Association’s Board Chairman, Vadim Solovyov.
The Agreement facilitates joint discussion of the aspects of the law within jurisdiction of the antimonopoly body and questions related to establishing and organizing compliance systems by economic entities – in-house assurance of compliance with the norms of the antimonopoly law. The Agreement also provides for joint organization of conferences, workshops, Round Tables, programmes, projects and other activities, educational-and-consulting events aimed at training, retraining and advancing qualification of personnel and members of the Association.
Another direction of the Agreement will be support in forming Working Groups to study, summarize and prepare analytical materials, textbooks and reference literature on the issues related to antimonopoly regulation, development of management and business.
Lenar Shafigullin commented: “Increasingly more companies understand the need to pursue reduction of antimonopoly risks. Cooperation with the Association, uniting experts in antimonopoly law, will be conducive to enhancing business ethics and compliance through measures on efficient corporate management”.
