EKATERINA URYUKINA: VIOALTIONS ARE FOUND ONLY IN 17% OF SUPPLY CONTRACTS BETWEEN SUPPLIERS AND RETAIL CHAINS

The antimonopoly bodies verified in total 17,000 contracts in 2017
On 23 July, Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over Social Sphere and Trade was a speaker at the 2nd session of the Round Table on “FAS and Russian Corporate Council Association. New Antimonopoly Approaches in 2018”.
“A package of inspection measures conducted by FAS regional Offices included analysis of 17,000 contracts and violations were found in only 17 %, which is good news. Practically all large retail chains and suppliers adjusted their contracts in line with the amendments to the law”, explained Ekaterina Uryukina.
She said that the share of exposed violations committed by regional and municipal chains accounted for 70 % while federal chains – around 30 %.
