Dagestan OFAS issued three warnings to stop actions that have elements of violations of the antimonopoly law to authorities of three Dagestan towns: Izberbash, Caspiiisk and Dagestanskie Ogni

The authorities fixed a lot procedure in the Regulations on the open tender for schedule freight under non-regulated tariffs on municipal routes that restricts the number of tender participants.  The antimonopoly body suspects that actions of the authorities have elements of breaching the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”1.

By 28 September 2018, the Mayor’s Offices must execute the warnings of Dagestan OFAS and make amendments to the Regulations in order to enable companies owning one and more vehicles to participate in the tender.

Failure to execute the warnings will lead to antimonopoly proceedings against the municipalities.
