2018 TARIFF AGREEMENT ON MANDATORY MEDICAL INSURANCE IN THE SARATOV REGION IS ADJUSTED IN LINE WITH THE LAW
The Government of the Saratov region executed the warning issued by Saratov OFAS
The Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund confirmed that after Saratov Regional Government had executed the warning issued by Saratov OFAS, the Tariff Agreement on Mandatory Medical Insurance in the Saratov region for 2018 conformed to the standards set by federal tariff policy regulations.
Upon a statement filed by the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund, Saratov OFAS established that the Tariff Agreement on Mandatory Medical Insurance in the Saratov region for 2018 had not observed the procedure for applying the coefficients of medical care levels (sub-levels).
The medical care coefficients for day-and-night in-patient departments of the first, second and third level medical facilities were contrary to the Guidelines.
It indicated a case-by-case approach to finding medical care provided by medical facilities, which does not fully comply with the standards of mandatory medical insurance and the antimonopoly law.
In accord with the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”[1] Saratov Regional Government was given a warning to terminate such actions and adjust the Tariff Agreement in line with the existing law on medical insurance.
To execute the warning of Saratov OFAS, the value thresholds medical care coefficients for the medical facilities listed in the warning were adjusted in accord with the Guidelines.
