DUE TO PUBLICATIONS IN MASS MEDIA FAS WOULD LIKE TO CLAIFY:

FAS proposals on reviewing the excise parameters were given earlier, prior to the Government making a decision to reduce prices cutting damping excise on oil.

Currently, FAS applies a complex of measures to increase on-exchange trading liquidity, reduce the reseller effect upon pricing, increase supplies of oil products to the domestic markets by increasing production and decreasing export.

These measures will help maintain stability on the oil products market in the parameters of the earlier tax decisions of the Government, particularly, on the level of excise for oil products.
