FAS APPROVED TIME-SCHEDULE FOR PUBLIC DISCUSSIONS WITH SUBORDINATE SUBJECTS FOR 2019

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) participates in the control-and-supervision reform

 

The new system of public control will reduce administrative burden upon business, increase the quality of performing control-and-supervision functions and reduce the level of damages to competition caused by violations of the law.

 

Public discussions of law enforcement practice are the main form of preventative work.

 

No. 94/19 FAS Order of 30.01.2019 approved the time-schedule of public events to be carried out by the Central and Regional Offices of the Federal Antimonopoly Service with subordinate subjects in 2019. It should be pointed out that the time-schedule can be modified.

 

Also, in accord with the departmental prevention programme, the antimonopoly body organizes quarterly thematic public discussions involving the staff of sectoral structural units. Last year a number of public event on countering anticompetitive agreements, holding tenders and auctions, public order and procurement procedures, the housing-and-utility sector, observing the law on advertising, etc.
