FAS STUDIES GROWING TRAVEL COSTS IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The competition authority receives plenty of complains from the population
Speaking at a workshop for representatives of FAS Regional Offices in Crimea, Head of the Transport Regulation Department, Adilia Vyaseleva, gave recommendations on price analysis for passenger transportation by public transport on urban and municipal routes and asked to pay attention to “gray” and “black” carriers and those who operate on unregulated tariffs.
“The situation is such that sometimes carriers form travel prices in a totally nontransparent manner and often refuse to render services to the beneficial groups of the population. FAS is receiving numerous complaints about the facts of significant growth of travel costs and poor service conditions or their absence for benefit holders. FAS is studying the circumstances”, clarified Adilia Vyaseleva.
