VLADIRIM FOMIN IS APPOINTED HEAD OF SMOLENSK OFAS

On 9 September 2019, Vladimir Fomin was appointed Head of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Smolensk region. Earlier, from 2007, Head of Smolensk OFAS was Nina Akzhitova.
Vladimir Fomin was born on 10 October 1963 in Sol-Iletsk, the Orenburg region.
In 1989 he graduated from SaratovLawUniversity named after Kursky. Joined the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Tver region in January 2009, where he made a career from Deputy Head of a Department – Head of Public Procurement Unit, to Head of Tver OFAS.
Vladimir Fomin took up his duties on 7 October. During a working visit to the Smolensk region, Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov presented Vladimir Fomin to Governor of the Smolensk region, Alexei Ostrovsky.
