27-11-2019 | 16:49

Due to reducing inflation rates, tariff indexation is recalculated at an earlier approved formula, based on the average inflation rate in the two previous years and the target values for the next two years

Elements of long-term tariffs such as the scope and structure of goods turnover, profit and losses, and investment programme of “Russian Railways” OJSC have not been considered.

The growth rate for freight tariffs: 2020 — 3.5% (instead of the earlier fixed 3.6%), 2021 – 3.7% (instead of 3.9%), in 2022 – 3.6% (instead of 3.8%), 2023 – 3.8% (instead of 3.9 %), in 2024 - 2025 – 3.9% (no changes).

The cumulative effect for the economy from adjusting the tariffs for reduced inflation in the period up to 2025 is –2.7% indexation or –41 billion RUB.

The order is submitted to the Ministry of Justice to be registered in accord with the established procedure.
