REGIONS SHOULD REPORT TO FAS ABOUT THE STATE OF COMPETITION IN 2019 BY 10 MARCH

The Antimonopoly authority continues collecting reports on the state and development of competitive environment on the markets of goods, works and services in the subjects of the Russian Federation in the past year

The subjects of the Russian Federation report to the antimonopoly authority, the Ministry of Economic Development, the “Strategic Initiatives Agency for Promoting New Projects” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization as well as the Central Bank in accord with Clause 48 of the Standard for Developing Competition in the Regions of the Russian Federation, approved by 17.04.2019 № 768-r Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation.

As of 6 March 2020, the competition bodies of the following subjects of the Russian Federation submitted their reports: St Petersburg, the Khanty-Mansiisky Autonomous District, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Volgograd region, the Republic of Buryatia, the Altai region, North Ossetia – Alania Republic, the Novgorod region and the Voronezh region.

FAS draws attention of the competent bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation that the deadline for submitting their reports is 10 March of the year subsequent to the reporting year.

FAS uses the materials from the regions reports to compile the regional section of the Annual Report on the State of Competition in the Russian Federation.

Also, on 7 April 2020 FAS organizes an annual workshop on “Implementing the Standard for Developing Competition in the Regions of the Russian Federation. Results. Objectives”. The workshop will take place at FAS Centre for Education and Methodology in Kazan.
