ANDREY TENISHEV PUBLISHED A PAPER ON ANTIMONOPOLY FORENSICS

The fist issue of the “Russian Competition Law and Economy” Journal published a paper authored by Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department, Andrey Tenishev – “Antimonopoly Forensics: the concept and substance”

The paper underlines the importance of developing a separate forensics sub-sector adapted to solve the tasks related to antimonopoly regulation and judicial scrutiny of exposed violations of the antimonopoly law. It will advance considerably employment of the modern means of science and technology in the investigations carried out by the antimonopoly authority. The ideas outlined in the paper will enrich the capacity of the antimonopoly body with forensic means and methods.

“New technical, tactical maneuvers and means of exposing and investigating antimonopoly violations - either currently applied or under development - require systematization, scientific justification and verification of their practical applicability. Solving this task can and must be supported with antimonopoly forensics”, explained Andrey Tenishev.
