FAS APPROVES BLUESTAR ADISSEO/FRANKLIN MERGER UNCONDITIONALLY

In accordance with Articles 28, 33 of the Federal Law dated July 26, 2006 No. 135-FZ "On Protection of Competition", FAS approved the proposed merger between Bluestar Adisseo Nutrition Group Limited (People’s Republic of China) and Franklin Group B.V. (Netherlands) unconditionally.

FAS has concluded that the proposed merger will not restrain competition in the Russian market for production of animal nutritions ingredients.

This transaction is part of Adisseo's strategy to boost specialties growth to become one of the worldwide leaders of specialty feed ingredients in animal nutrition.

FRAmelco Group, a family owned multinational group headquartered in The Netherlands, operates 3 plants located in The Netherlands, Spain and Thailand. The business generates gross sales of about €30 million per year. Adisseo is one of the world's leading experts in feed additives.

The company that appears after the merger completion will allow to implement integrated solutions and offer even more value to customers who want to reduce antibiotic usage and enhance animal resilience.
