MOSCOW REGIONAL OFFICE OF THE FAS RUSSIA DETECTED A CARTEL IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

The companies agreed not to reduce the price at 38 auctions. The total revenue of the cartel amounted to more than 373 million rubles

The Moscow Regional Office of the FAS Russia recognized SK Vershina LLC, GRSK 33 LLC and F-data LLC as violating the Law on Protection of Competition*.

The companies refused to compete in 38 auctions for the provision of services for the maintenance and operation of administrative buildings of the Central administrative district of Moscow. As a result, the decrease in the initial price for the considered auctions was from 0% to 2.5%.

The total revenue of the cartel amounted 373.5 million rubles.

Materials on the case of violation of the Antimonopoly legislation were transmitted for administrative investigation.

“Violators will face not only fines of up to 50% of the initial bid price, but also consideration of their actions for the presence of a crime under article 178 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” Ekaterina Solovyova, Head of the Moscow RO of the FAS Russia  said.
