It will allow the agency to operatively monitor the pricing of organizations that can influence these markets, identify unjustified price increases and respond appropriately

In the first half of 2021, the FAS Russia received more than 600 complaints on the increase in prices for construction materials.

Due to the need for operational regulation, as well as the analysis of pricing of manufacturers and suppliers of construction and related markets, the agency decided to create a list of large organizations operating in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The FAS Russia plans to create such a register for the markets of wood, non-metallic and paint materials, cement, brick, aerated concrete, mineral wool, sheet glass, roofing materials, bitumen, primary polymers.

The work is designed to focus the attention of regulatory and supervisory authorities on the activities of producers who can influence the relevant commodity markets.
