ORELOBLENERGO REDUCED TARIFFS IN THE COMMUNICATION SERVICES MARKET BY 8 TIMES

The organization executed the order of the antimonopoly service and established an economically reasonable tariff

Earlier, the FAS Russia recognized the company as violating the antimonopoly legislation [1].

Oreloblenergo JSC  limited competition in the market of providing communication services. The organization established and maintained monopolistically high prices for services for the provision of supports for the placement of communication lines in the territory of the Orel region.

An order was issued to the company to establish an economically reasonable tariff. It fulfilled the requirement of the FAS Russia, reducing tariffs by 8 times.

Now regional operators have the opportunity to provide a larger number of localities with high – quality communication services at reasonable costs, and consumers have the opportunity to get a choice of supplier in competitive conditions at lower prices.
