FAS AND FEDERAL TAX SERVICE CHECK PRICES IN THE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS MARKETS

Based on the results of joint work, a significant increase in financial indicators was revealed in a number of markets

Due to the increase in prices for building materials in 2021 and a large number of incoming complaints* the FAS Russia decided to conduct detailed inspections in the construction materials markets and related markets. We are talking about the markets of metal products, wood, non-metallic and paint materials, cement, brick, aerated concrete, mineral wool, sheet glass, roofing materials, bitumen, primary polymers.

In order to assess the financial indicators the FAS Russia organized a joint work with the Federal Tax Service of Russia. As a result of the interaction, a significant increase in financial indicators by types of economic activity in the field of construction materials production was revealed.

Earlier, as a result of the inspections carried out, the FAS Russia has already initiated cases against the Kronoshpan group of companies in the market of wood slabs, Salavatsteklo and Guardian Glass in the market of flat glass.

The FAS continues to analyze the largest companies in certain building materials markets.
