FAS issued an injunction to four stevedores to transfer nearly 17 billion RUB to the federal budget for abusing dominance
The FAS Russia issued injunctions to “Novorossiysk Commercial Seaport” PJSC (“NCSP” PJSC), “First Container Terminal” JSC (“FCT” JSC), “Petrolesport” JSC and “Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company” Ltd. (“VSC” Ltd.) to eliminate antimonopoly violations and transfer the income gained as a result of abusing dominance to the federal budget.
FAS did not find any violations of the antimonopoly law in Murmansk port
On 30 March 2017, FAS stopped investigating a cases against the above companies opened upon signs of abusing dominance (fixing monopolistically high prices)
FAS requested three more stevedoring companies to pay income gained through violating the antimonopoly law to the budget
FAS opened cases against stevedoring companies on 17 June 2016 based on monitoring prices for cargo loading-unloading services in the seaports of the Russian Federation.
FAS obligated “NCSP” to transfer income from monopolistic activity to the federal budget
Investigating the case, the antimonopoly body received petitions from “Rosneft” NK” PJSC and “Russneft” NK” PJSC and brought them in as claimants on the case. “Russian railways” OJSC was brought in the case as an interested person.

On 5 February 2016, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Andrey Tsyganov took part in a discussion on “Economic Policy and Supporting Business Initiative” at the XV Congress of the “United Russia” political party.
