Google continues its anticompetitive practices

On September, 2, 2016 the FAS Russia dismissed a petition of Google Inc. and Google Ireland Limited on prolongation of the period of the execution of FAS Russia’s ruling on case of violation of antimonopoly legislation and made a decision on refuse of its satisfaction. Applicants required prolongation for every particular point of ruling- from 6 to 12 months

On 17 August 2016, the 9th Arbitration Appeal Court pronounced legitimacy and reasonableness of the decision of the FAS Russia on a case against Google

On 11 August 2016, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) imposed an administrative fine upon “Google Inc.”: 438,067,400 RUB (the official exchange rate set by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on 11.08.2016 was 64.8137 RUB/$).
