AB InBev again comes to FAS

Upon approving AB InBev and Anadolu Efes merger, FAS has not stopped working with the companies

On 9 November, Head of FAS Fiscal Control Department, Vladimir Mishelovin, had a meeting with Vice-President on Legal and Corporate Affairs, Europe at AB InBev, Maroia Fernanda Lima da Rocha Barros. The parties discussed company’s operations in Russia and the prospects of its development after completing the merger with Anadolu Efes

Vladimir Mishelovin emphasized that FAS always specifically notices and welcomes work of foreign companies that invest in the Russian economy and develop innovative technologies.

“Once again we have confirmed that economic integration cannot be stopped in the epoch of globalization”, saidHead of FAS Fiscal Control Department. “Corporate efforts in implementing antimonopoly compliance also deserve respect. FAS values companies that have in-house tools to control observance of the antimonopoly law”.

Vice-President of the brewing company thanked FAS for prompt consideration of the petition for AB InBev and Anadolu Efes merger in Russia: “We are very impressed by the level of professionalism shown by FAS staff”.

Vladimir Mishelovin pointed out that FAS mission is freedom of competition and efficient business protection.
