The company avoided a contract for heat energy transmission

FAS exposed signs of violating the competition act by “Moscow Integrated Energy Company” PJSC: the company voided a contract for heat power transmission with “TEKEnergo” Ltd.

In accord with the warning, “MOEK” PJSC had to enter into the agreement with the economic entity. To execute FAS warning, “MOEK” offered “TEKEnergo” Ltd. a contract for heat power transmission services.

“MOEK” PJSC fully executed FAS warning in due time. Warnings are an efficient form of preventing violations of mandatory antimonopoly standards”, concluded Deputy Head of FAS Department for Regulating the Housing-and-Utilities Sector, Elena Tsyshevskaya.

FAS is involved in the control-and-supervision reform, monitored by a minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Abyzov. The new system of public control will reduce the administrative burden upon business, improve the performance of control-and-supervision functions and decrease damage to competition in the course of violating the law.
