PASSENGERS CAN REFUSE FOOD IN TRAINS

The web-site for booking rail tickets now gives an option to refuse catering services en route

Earlier FAS received numerous complaints regarding signs of imposing catering services by the Federal Passenger Company since passengers had no possibility to refuse the service.

FAS was working on those complaints, in particular, enquiries were sent to the “Federal Passenger Company” JSC for legal, economic or other justification of  including additional food services in the costs of travel documents.

As a result, passengers are now given an option to choose or refuse food when booking tickets.
