ANDREY TSARIKOVSKIY HELD TALKS WITH THE HEAD OF ISRAEL COMPETITION AUTHORITY

The parties discussed competition development in Russia and Israel and further bilateral cooperation

Stats-Secretary, Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsarikovskiy held a working meeting with the Head of Israel Competition Authority, Mrs. Michael Galperin.

He thanked Mrs. Galperin for the interest in developing bilateral cooperation between competition authorities of Russia and Israel.

The parties discussed studies of especially important markets that are of priority for Israel, investigations by the local competition authority and its achievements in competition support.  

Andrey Tsarikovskiy outlined the problems in the work of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and discussed signing the Memorandum of Understanding by FAS and Israel Competition Authority.  

He emphasized: “The Memorandum will determine the strategic areas and forms of cooperation between our agencies, facilitate experience exchange in law-making and practical work, methodological support, trainings and joint educational events and workshops”.

Deputy Head of FAS invited Mrs. Michael Galperin to take part in the forthcoming FAS events. The parties expressed hope for further productive cooperation.
