DEPARTMENT OF ANTIMONOPOLY AND TARIFF REGULATION IS OPENED IN CHECHNYA STATE UNIVERSITY
Its opening was discussed in July 2018 at the meeting of the Head of FAS Igor Artemiev and Head of Cechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov
The Academic Council of Chechnya State University made a decision to open the Department of Antimonopoly and Tariff Regulation.
The University and Chechnya OFAS also concluded an Agreement on Cooperation to interact and organize events aimed at identifying the most promising and pressing research areas, including interdisciplinary themes. They will continue exchanging statistical, analytical and reference information on the questions of interest in a systematic manner.
The Department plans to participate in international and Russian projects and programmes focusing on integration, etc.
Deputy Head of FAS Sergey Puzyrevskiy stated that “Department will train highly skilled specialists that in the future will be able to work with the systems of antimonopoly and tariff regulation within public service, judiciary, and business”.
“Opening the Department was a logical continuation of the efforts undertaken under the frame of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Antimonopoly Service and Chechnya signed in July 2018. Active work is being done to draft joint curriculums for training student and professional retraining and qualification advancement programmes”, pointed out Head of FAS Legal Department Artem Molchanov.
Head of Chechnya OFAS, Aslambek Elbukaev, is appointed Acting Head of the Department of Antimonopoly and Tariff Regulation of Chechnya State University.
